Terms of Service

These terms are the agreement between you and MedMatch. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. Please read them — especially the parts about who can use MedMatch, how you must behave, and subscriptions.

1. Who can use MedMatch

You must be at least 18 years old to use MedMatch. By using the app you confirm that you are 18 or older and that the date of birth you provide is accurate. MedMatch is intended for medical students and doctors. You must be able to form a legally binding contract to use MedMatch.

2. Your account

You're responsible for the information you provide and for keeping your login secure.
Provide accurate, real information — including a real name, real photos of yourself, and a truthful profile. Impersonation and fake profiles are not allowed.
One account per person. Don't create accounts for anyone else or share your account.
You're responsible for activity that happens under your account.

3. How you must behave

MedMatch only works if people treat each other with respect. You agree not to:

Harass, threaten, abuse, stalk, or intimidate anyone.
Post or send content that is hateful, sexually explicit toward non-consenting people, violent, or illegal.
Share content involving minors, or sexualize minors in any way.
Solicit money, run scams, spam, advertise, or promote other services.
Impersonate anyone, or misrepresent who you are.
Share other users' private information or screenshots without consent.
Use MedMatch for any unlawful purpose, or attempt to hack, disrupt, or reverse-engineer the service.

Breaking these rules can lead to suspension or permanent removal, and where appropriate, reports to the authorities.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of the photos, messages, and other content you share ("Your Content"). By posting it, you grant MedMatch a limited licence to host, store, and display Your Content as needed to operate the service (for example, showing your profile to other users and delivering your messages). You're responsible for Your Content and confirm you have the right to share it. We may remove content that violates these terms.

5. Safety, blocking & reporting

You can block any user, which removes them from your experience, and report behavior that breaks these terms. We review reports and may take action, including warning, suspending, or permanently removing accounts. When you report a conversation, we may review that conversation to act on the report. MedMatch is not a background-checking service. Always use good judgment, protect your personal information, and meet new people safely.

6. MedMatch Gold & payments

MedMatch offers an optional paid subscription, MedMatch Gold, with additional features.
Gold is billed through Google Play at the price shown in the app (for example ₹99 per month). Payment, renewals, and refunds are handled according to Google Play's terms.
Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime in your Google Play account; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Except where required by law or Google Play's policies, payments are non-refundable.
We may change Gold's features or price; we'll give notice of material changes where required.

7. Suspension & termination

You can stop using MedMatch and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you break these terms, create risk for other users, or where required by law. We may suspend an account for a set period or permanently, depending on the situation. If your account is removed for a serious violation, you may not create a new one.

8. Disclaimers

MedMatch is provided "as is" and "as available." We don't guarantee that you'll find a match, that other users are who they claim to be, or that the service will always be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties not expressly stated here.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MedMatch and Jiten Labs are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, or from interactions with other users. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Where you have mandatory consumer-protection rights under the law of your own country, those rights are not affected.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as MedMatch evolves. When we make material changes, we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continuing to use MedMatch after an update means you accept the revised terms.
